About Phil O. Sophus
Chief Archivist, Curator of Forgotten Things, and Occasional Owl
Every hero needs a sidekick. Every plot needs a plot twist. Every author needs someone to remind him where he filed the important documents.
That is where I come in.
For many years, I have served as Chief Archivist for Ray of Sonshine Press, preserving family histories, rescuing forgotten stories, researching obscure genealogical mysteries, and calling authors back to the chosen path when they experience squirrel moments.
My interests include:
- Family History
- Genealogy
- Recovery Stories
- Theology
- Dusty Archives
- Forgotten Photographs
- Coffee-Shop Conversations
- Soaring through the aether in search of forgotten nuggets of wisdom
I maintain a close relationship with my cousin, Theophilus.
He became famous.
I became interesting.
Life is not always fair.
Educational Background
My academic credentials include advanced studies at:
- The University of Ancient Oaks
- The Institute of Perpetual Curiosity
- St. Athanasius School of Nocturnal Research
These credentials have not been independently verified, largely because the institutions themselves appear to exist only on exceptionally old maps.
Philosophy
Dates matter. Names matter. Facts matter. But wisdom is what remains after the facts have done their work.
As a result, I try to remember:
Memories fade.
Stories endure.
Wisdom survives.
Professional Experience
Researching family histories, preserving forgotten stories, and calling authors back to the chosen path when they experience squirrel moments since 2015.
Please note: Phil O. Sophus is a fictional character.
Or is he?
